On May 12, Beijing time, due to the feedback from the Badminton World Federation that the badminton floor was too slippery, the organizers of the ongoing Tangyou Cup changed the carpet of the venue.
The Tom Yu Cup which is currently being held in Thailand, due to the rainy and humid weather in Bangkok, there is a return of moisture in the venue. At the same time of high temperature and humidity, the air conditioner in the venue is also turned on very much, resulting in serious wind direction problems.
Through our experience, the reason of floor slippy is it exceed the warranty of the floor or it is used too longer or there are too many exercise or competition which led the floor be weared out badly.
Also, the weather and temperature can have an effects on the sports floor.
