On July 7th, the first stop of the first Chinese Pickball Tour came to an end at the Sports Center Gymnasium in Shangyou County, Jiangxi Province. The champions of seven events were determined in the competition.
After two days of competition, Wang Kangjie and Lin Yingxue defeated Lin Junxi and Xiao Wenhui respectively, winning the men's and women's singles championships in the open group. The men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles open group championships were Wang Kangjie/Lin Junxi, Xiao Wenhui/Su Ruobing, and Xu Zili/Lin Yingxue, respectively. The evergreen men's doubles and women's doubles champions were Guan Yuming/Wang Zhongzhi and Yang Suli/Wei Fengyun, respectively.
This year, there are a total of 10 competitions on the China Pickleball Tour, and other competitions will be held in cities such as Hohhot and Shenzhen. At the same time, the Small Ball Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China will also host the China Open, National Championships, Championships, and Elite Tournaments this year. This tour is hosted by the Small Ball Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the China Pickleall Working Committee, and the Jiangxi Provincial Sports Bureau. It is also organized by the Ganzhou Sports Bureau, the People's Government of Shangyou County, the Ganzhou Pik Ball Association, and the Shenzhen Pickleball Association.
In recent years, Shangyou County has been focusing on building an outdoor sports and event industry cluster, vigorously developing the event economy, cultivating and building brand events. By improving the infrastructure of badminton, comprehensively promoting and popularizing the sport, efforts have been made to promote the development of the badminton industry, and actively building the "Hometown of Chinese Picking".
