The 2025 Sudirman Cup Badminton Mixed Team Championships, commonly known as the Sudirman Cup, has been held every two years since its first competition in 1989. It is one of the three major world team competitions in badminton, the other two being the Thomas Cup and the Uber Cup. The event will be held in Xiamen from April 27 to May 4, 2025.
Event Preparation
The 2025 Sudirman Cup Badminton Mixed Team Championships will be held in China, but the host city is currently undecided.
In December 2023, the Chinese Badminton Association determined Xiamen, Fujian Province as the bid city for the 2025 Sudirman Cup Badminton Mixed Team Championships.
On June 13, 2024, the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and the Chinese Badminton Association (CBA) determined Xiamen as the host city for the 2025 Total Energy BWF Sudirman Cup Finals, which will be held in Xiamen from April 27 to May 4, 2025.
