The Shanghai Container Freight Index (SCFI) rose 9.3 percent last week to 2,520.76 points, up 2 percent in two weeks. Drewry's World Container Index (WCI) showed similar growth, rising 11% to $3,511 per case on May 16, 104% higher than the same period in 2023.
